Kutti MC: Freischwimmer
Poetry / Rap / Pop. Over the past decade Bernese Jürg Halter alias Kutti MC has become the nation's most prominent vernacular freestyle rapper. Whereas in the beginning his freakish artistry of the spoken word had flourished in obscurity, more recently Kutti MC's diverse collaborations with Helvetian high calibers have definitely turned the spotlight on him. Notwithstanding, his current album Freischwimmer (Free Swimmer) bears the hallmarks of Stephan Eicher, our man in Paris, who produced these sessions. And Eicher gave the rhymes of this quirky poet a relaxed pop attitude and mainstream character.
