Montreux Jazz line-up revealed early
Bob Dylan, Sinéad O’Connor, Alanis Morissette and Lana Del Rey are among the highlights of this year’s Montreux Jazz Festival.
The line-up was announced two days earlier than planned after the Swiss media spilled the beans. The festival runs from June 29 to July 14.
Its eclectic programme also includes 86-year-old United States crooner Tony Bennett and French singer Juliette Gréco (85), plus rock flautist Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull fame and Northern Irish singer and composer Van Morrison.
Other artists who have been confirmed are Bobby McFerrin, Chick Corea, Amy Macdonald and Bastian Baker.
The performances of Herbert Grönemeyer and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds were announced last month. Ticket sales begin on Friday.
