Yannick Délez: Boréales
Solo Piano / Modern. Valasian Yannick Délez was introduced to the Swiss scene through his collaborations with the spectacular all-keyboard ensemble Piano Seven and with intimate singer Chloé Levy. Nevertheless, Boréales (Northern Lights) features this searching artist alone on a concert grand. Recorded at the legendary Music Hall of La Chaux-de-Fonds, this soliloquy immediately casts a spell over the listener. Délez pointillistic way of playing jazz standards and originals creates a wide sonic continuum. His deconstructivist interpretations thereby open perspectives full of beautiful surprises.
