Behind the scenes of power by photographer Christian Lutz.
This content was published on December 10, 2007 minutes
Over a period of three years, Geneva photographer Christian Lutz was at the side of Swiss interior minister Pascal Couchepin at diplomatic receptions, political meetings, and during trips around the country and abroad. The photographs show a different side of power. According to Lars Müller, the publisher of "Protokoll", Lutz "isolates the clichés that rule the world and records the unsaid and unobserved with his camera". In the photographer's words: "I always felt in a closed diplomatic bubble, crossing different cultural media but meeting characters with identical behaviour".
