The Schwyzerörgeli is the quintessential Swiss accordion. It was first developed by the company Eichhorn in the central Swiss town of Schwyz, hence its name. The firm still handcrafts about 30 of these unique Swiss instruments every year and older models have become collectors’ items. (Julie Hunt, swissinfo.ch)
