Guy Parmelin has completed his first foreign trip as Swiss president, travelling to Austria which is traditionally the first official visit by all Swiss government ministers who hold the rotating presidency role. Parmelin was received at Vienna’s Hofburg Palace on Thursday, January 15 by Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen.
