What atheists can learn from religion

Swiss born writer Alain De Botton has made a name for himself with his books and television programmes emphasising philosophy's relevance to everyday life. He’s an atheist, but believes religions have much to offer the secular world.

Swiss TV’s culture magazine, Kulturplatz, recently interviewed de Botton in London, where he has set up a ’School of Life’, a cultural enterprise offering courses on how to live wisely and well.(SRF/swissinfo.ch)
