Jodlerchörli Zulgtal & Ländlerfründe Gantrischsee: Us Tradition (For Tradition’s Sake)

Yodel / Instrumental. This album Us Tradition (For Tradition's Sake) features two different folk ensembles from the foothills of the Bernese Oberland near Lake Thun. The mixed eight-piece yodel choir Zulgtal has a preference for calm, old chants, which reflect their member's rural backgrounds. The Ländlerfründe Gantrischsee play music in the Grison lineup, made up of two Swiss diatonic accordions, two clarinets and double bass. They top this recording with upbeat performances of Bernese and Grison style numbers.
