Gagliardi on to third round at Amelia
Switzerland's Emmanuelle Gagliardi has defeated the United States' Meilen Tu in the second round of the $585,000 tennis tournament in Amelia Island, Florida.
Gagliardi beat Meilen 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 at the outdoors hardcourt event. The WTA match was initially suspended on Thursday due to torrential rains.
