The Swiss Alphorn Quartet was formed in 1991 by Joszef Molnar, honorary solo horn with the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra (1958-97). The tracks on this CD combine traditional pieces, meticulously rehearsed, with contemporary items, resulting in a particularly original style.
