
Daniel Schnyder

Daniel Schnyder was born in Zurich in 1961. He has lived in New York City since 1992, from where he embarked upon a varied musical career as composer, saxophonist and flautist. Schnyder devotes himself in equal measure to jazz, improvised music and classical music. He is among the most active and most-played Swiss composers of his generation. Works on this CD: Concerto for Chamber Orchestra, "TNT" for piano solo, Concerto for Violoncello and Orchestra, "Four Winds" for violin, String Trio, works for soprano saxophone and bass trombone a.o.
