Trummer: Fürne Königin
Singer-songwriter / Pop / Bernese Dialect. On his latest recording Fürne Königin (For A Queen) poetic singer-songwriter Trummer sings about sorrowful love affairs by illuminating thirteen such frail stories. Many of these silent, ironic songs indulge deeply in weltschmerz, while others roll with a defiant folk-rock note. After returning home from an extensive US tour, Trummer decided to abandon English lyrics in favor of his Bernese Oberland dialect. This album, his fifth to date, marks his oeuvre's highlight, being a felicitous blend of music and poetry.
