St Gallen globe
A look at the marvellous copy made from a 16th century original.

Around 7,000 hours of work have gone into making this replica of a globe that was stolen from St Gallen more than 400 years ago. Canton Zurich, where the original presently sits, agreed to pay for the copy to end a dispute over ownership. The copy will be a gift to canton St Gallen.
