Cyber war, reality or science fiction?

Attacks against electronic information systems can do serious damage to economic and political entities as well as to the administration of a country. A case in point is the Stuxnet virus created by American and Israeli experts to block Iran’s nuclear programme. Will future wars be fought with computer malware?

Nuclear power stations, hospitals and distribution centres for drinking water are prime targets in a cyber war. Who should be in charge of protecting the infrastructure? Possibly an army of cyber soldiers or civilian IT staff? Give us your opinion.
