UBS Names Dillon, Pinto-Leite Co-Heads of Leveraged Finance

Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) — UBS AG, Switzerland’s biggest bank, appointed Brendan Dillon and Francisco Pinto-Leite as joint global heads of leveraged finance, a new role within the investment bank.

The appointments are effective immediately, Brendan Connolly, the global head of financing solutions, said in a memo today. A spokeswoman for Zurich-based UBS confirmed the memo’s contents.

Jim Boland is moving to London as the head of leveraged finance for Europe, Middle East and Africa and David Barth has been appointed to lead the business in the Americas, it said. Giles Borten, who previously headed leveraged finance in EMEA, left UBS earlier this year.
