East meets West
A Swiss tradition inspires Chinese handicraft.
Chinese paper silhouette cutters travelled through the eastern region of Appenzell and were inspired by the local folk culture. Back home, the Chinese showed how they mastered the art and revealed new insights into an old custom. The exhibition in the Appenzell House in Zurich is open until the end of January 2010.
