Green flat roofs are good for the air and for biodiversity
Biodiversity in cities can be enhanced by creating more “green roofs” – roofs that are covered in vegetation. They improve air quality and insects can use them as stepping stones from one green patch to another and so enlarge their habitat. (Raffaella Rossello, swissinfo.ch)
