The family of a Swiss-Tunisian dual national killed in Tunisia on January 12 has filed a complaint against the state of Tunisia.

The victim, aged 67, was hit by a stray bullet while watching a demonstration from a terrace during the recent unrest in Tunisia. She was employed at the university hospital in Lausanne and was married to a Swiss.
In the complaint the family are demanding compensation and calling for an inquiry to be held into the death.
The victim’s brother told the Swiss News Agency that he had been told by a court in the Tunisian city of Grombalia that an inquiry would be launched in the next week.
An autopsy found that the woman had died from a bullet entering her head.
