Sol Gabetta: Il Progretto Vivaldi. The Vivaldi Project.
The cellist Sol Gabetta was born in Cordoba, Argentina, in 1981. From 1992-94 a scholarship enabled her to study at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid, after which she went to Switzerland to study at the Basel Academy of Music, where she has been teaching herself as a professor since 2006.
