
Swiss exports set for boost from China
Switzerland is set to sign a free trade agreement with China on July 5, capping two years of talks. The deal is expected to open up access to the Chinese market and strengthen the competitiveness of Swiss industrial products.

Switzerland and China have agreed to improve cooperation in high-end machinery manufacturing among other things. It’s good news for Swiss firms that already export to China, such as Endress + Hauser near Basel. The accord still needs to be ratified by the Swiss parliament. (SRF 10vor10/swissinfo.ch)
